Hello,

I am wanting to make it so folks can create there own Subcategories in easy blog. Lets say I have a main Categories of:

Arts and Entertainment (Main)

(They would be able to create the following under the main)
--Music
--Pottery
--Oil Painting
--Water Colors

I am thinking it would be like in Easy social how they create groups under a certain categories.

Kind Regards,
R. Baker
Do you mean that you would like to allow your site author to create their own subcategories under this main category (Arts and Entertainment)?

If yes, it is possible to allow the site author to create their own category but the system does not have any restriction to force them only can create a subcategory under a specific main category, as long as you have allowed them to create a new category on the site, the author can able to create another main category as well.

To allow your site author can able to create a new category on the site, ensure that you have enabled this "Create Categories" ACL permission from the author user group under the Easyblog ACL section.
