It seems like that is not support for retrieve the image from Facebook link yet, but I will log this issue in our tracker and see is there a way to retrieve image from Facebook link.

the issue does not exist only on facebook links.

Try apply this following css in your current template and see how it goes?

/* increase the link image width */

div#fd.eb .ebd-block[data-type=links] .media-thumb {

    width: 20% !important;

}
