Hi

I am trying to update from the previous version to the latest version, but my update is stuck on 20% where it is initializing the site files.

Can you let me know two things

If I leave the update will this cause issues on the site?

Could it be something to do with a new server that I have just moved over to?

Unfortunately for now I cannot give you any login details for you to go and have a look.

May i know which version you update from?

I can't tell you is it related with your recently move to another server causing this installation issue yet without access in your site.

If you can't view Easysocial backend setting, you can temporary remove this file from JoomlaFolder/tmp/easysocial.installation

By the way, It would be best if you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look.

Sorry but I can't remember exactly which version I was running, I think it was 5.24

We did remove the tmp/easyblog.installation file, but it hasn't made any difference.

The blog page on the front end is not behaving properly, the showcase module is not scrolling through on the front page, then when bloggers try to write anything, they cannot get past the template option screen, even with a quick post, it gets stuck in the writing area, so no further content can be added at the moment, which is bad for my bloggers and my site.

I have uploaded my site details to my account, they are a little different than you may be used to, but I am sure you will understand.

Please follow the instructions I have provided.

I am in the UK and will be asleep for the next few hours but will be awake from 5am my time, 12pm your time. Please send me the details I have requested by then, as I need to go to work and need to add you in before I leave so you can then have a look and try and fix this issue.

If you are able to fix the issue, please update easyblog for me, if you are not and it is something I need to get my IT man to have a look at on our server then please can you revert the version of easy blog back to what I was running, I think it was 5.24.

I very much hope we can get this sorted as quickly as possible, I really appreciate your help.

I at office now 10.30am here, I already send my public key and IP address in your email, can you check it now?

By the way, I am not quite understand how to setup my username and password, is it the key passphrase and key comment?

hey Alex,

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,

After I connected your site through putty.exe after insert `Login as` , but i still can't able to access as you provided that URL, am i missing something here?

Have you enabled the port forwarding?

Go to Connection-SSH-Tunnels and add in a new forward port - Source Port will be 443 and Destination Port 127.0.0.1:443 then click add.

I would be happy to do a team viewer with you, I am now at work and not on my server computer, so we would have to do it from your end, but we can certainly have a go at trying to get it sorted.

If I am not wrong, when you logged in teamviewer, it will show your `Allow Remote control` ID, can you pass that ID and password to me?
