Hi guys,

I've been using EasyBlog for quite some time now, it was embedded in the template I purchased some years ago. Just a moment ago I was using EasyBlog in the administrator back-end and it asked me to update. Obviously I pushed the update button but then realised I need an API key to actually be able to update the software. I cancelled the update but everytime I now open the easyblog component I get forwarded to the setup page:

Step 1: Requirements

Thank you for your recent purchase of EasyBlog, the award winning blog extension for Joomla!

Before proceeding with the Installation, please ensure that these Requirement Dependencies are met. These are the Required Dependencies to ensure that EasyBlog runs smoothly on your site.

When I select Exit Installation the Joomla administrator back-end opens again. When then opening the EasyBlog component I still get the installation page again. It's in some sort of loop.

How can I fix this? It's sort of weird that after pressing the 'update' button and then cancelling it, the software is now stuck in a loop. The frontend software still works by the way, no problems there.

Thanks. I've attached the a printscreen of where I'm stuck.

Andy
Hello Andy,
