Structured Data and Rich Snippets for Google and EasySocial

Hello,

Now Google puts sites forward using Structured Data, whose Rich Snippets.

Concretely, in Google results, a page of yours site would be accompanied for example by :

- Review application data (we would have the rating and stars)
- the price of a product entered in a Custom Field of an EasySocial Page
- any other value from a EasySocial Custom Field

The possibilities are numerous.
With all this, our sites will be more visible in Google, and the traffic will increase.

I love this. I've just written to Tassos Marinos to integrate ED too.
I do think is much better to have those by default on EB & ED.
Some suggestions:
EasyBlog Rich Snippets: Author picture, article rating (stars - they are already included), by Author name, in category, time ago (eg. 2 months ago), no. comments
EasyDiscuss Rich Snippets: Author picture, discuss rating, asked/ answered Author name, in category, time ago (eg. 2 months ago), no. answeres and this too

Yes I have that plugin as well and have not figured it all out but it seems pretty powerful
I got stuck at getting a custom rich snippet for the grid page for blogs:

Does this plugin (Google Structured Data) generate the data automatically ?

You need to take a look at this link here (Integrations):

https://www.tassos.gr/joomla-extensions/google-structured-data-markup

So for eg in my case I was able to go in and generate structured data for individual blog posts.

If I remember correctly I did them one by one.

But it breaks down sooner or later.

At the earliest when your component of choice is not on the Integrations list.

At the latest when your component of choice is on the Integrations list but you are doing some thing fancy with it.

eg in my case when I get to the grid layout for Blog posts.
