Hi!

Just updated my site to Joomla 3.2.2, and now my Latest Blogs module on my easyblog setup is displaying the following error messages above each latest entry. How can I fix this?

Strict Standards: Non-static method modLatestBlogsHelper::getLatestPost() should not be called statically in ../modules/mod_latestblogs/mod_latestblogs.php on line 181

Strict Standards: Non-static method modLatestBlogsHelper::_processItems() should not be called statically in ../modules/mod_latestblogs/helper.php on line 138

Strict Standards: Non-static method modLatestBlogsHelper::_getMenuItemId() should not be called statically in ../modules/mod_latestblogs/tmpl/default_item.php on line 18
Hello Gregory,

I could not access your site please set the user access to admin privilege, I would not know if the fix will work on your site without access.
This files might fix your issue, replace them accordingly.

Joomla/modules/mod_latestblogs/mod_latestblogs.php
Joomla/modules/mod_latestblogs/tmpl/default_item.php

Thanks:)

Folks,

This problem still exists in the latest code as of May 2014. It would be helpful if this patch could be added to your distro; it is a little cumbersome to have to remember to patch here and there.

Thanks,
chrissy

The following will fix this same problem in the latestbloggers module:

modules/mod_easybloglatestblogger/mod_easybloglatestblogger.php
modules/mod_easybloglatestblogger/tmpl/default.php

Hello Myra,

Thanks for reporting in. We will fix this in our repo and you will not have to re-patch it again in the future.

Dear Support,

I recently updated my site to Joomla 3.2.2 as well and have the same errors but replacing the files didn't fix it. What can I do?

Thanks!

Hello Michael,

May I know the exact error you get? Or you can provide us the page URL to that error so we can send you the fixed file for you to replace. Please advise.
