I'm running into a weird issue. I had the stream for Everyone set to load 25 items, but it was only loading 1 or 2. When you click Load More, it blinks and maybe loads one more, maybe nothing. I thought it looked like there were maybe hidden stream items being counted somehow.

I went to look at the stream in the backend, and there are an absolute TON of "user logged in" stream items. I have these turned off, but they are still being created. This is definitely a space waster, and I suspect what is preventing the "everyone" stream from functioning properly.

How can I prevent the "login" stream items from being created at all?
Hi Beth,

Regarding your issue, I've fixed your issue on your site. It seems like in Joomla 3.3.6, they have changed the way to access the default value from a registry object The fix will be added into next release of EasySocial

Please verify again
Hope this help and have a nice day!

Sorry, its a false alarm. The issue was due to the default value from the app not being sync in the code. The fix will be added into next release of EasySocial

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hello Ron,

What is the URL to the administration area of your site? I tried to access the normal /administrator/ portion and it isn't working.

Mark - I changed the backend site location. It's included it in the site Details - attached. As a side point, I was surprised to see how many hackers were hitting the /administrator backend. Once I changed it, it started to throw 404 errors so I could see how many were doing this.

Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron,

I am sorry for the late reply.
It seems like you haven't install EasyDiscuss app in your EasySocial. I have helped you install the app and now your site is displaying the stream correctly.

So why do you need to install EasyDiscuss app? It is because EasySocial pull 25 streams(based on your setting) from the database, however, it cannot show the stream from EasyDiscuss because EasyDiscuss app doesn't installed in your site. So, EasySocial will skip these stream and only shows the other.

Hope I have explained it well.
