Hello,
I've noticed that whenever I log in to my account, I cannot see my friends post-streams, even though we're "friends" on the site. Please see the attached image. Could it be that since I am a Super-User AND a Registered User, I am not allowed to see any other Registered Users posts?
Hello Edmund,

I've checked your site and found out that Easyblog app is not installed. I've installed it for you and the stream is working fine now.

NIK,

Thanks for adding the EasyBlog app to the profile, but I think we're confusing each other. I'm still unable to see my friends posts. Not their blogs, their EasySocial posts.

For example, when you log on (I provided my login credentials privately to this forum), go to Fishin' Club --> The Fishin' Club. Then search for SamBam (other user). It will come up as Samantha Carter. Select it (see image). You will see the last post was submitted by SamBam over 2 months ago, and that was an event. However, SamBam posted an update 1 day ago and I cannot see the post even though the post was made public. SamBam is just one of many users whose updates I cannot see.

Please see images for example.

Thanks!

Hello Edmund,

Ah, I see. To troubleshoot this, we need one test user account so that we can debug from both account (the user and the viewer). Is it possible for you to create one test user for us?

Hi NIK,

I've created the user name "TempUser". The password is the same as the password I've provided privately (in the first forum). Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi NIK,

I noticed you posted a test comment on my site. Were you able to figure out why I can't see other user posts? I've double-checked all the ACL settings and permissions and cannot find anything wrong.

Thanks,
Edmund.

Hello Edmund,

I'm sorry for the late reply. We are still troubleshoot it. May I know from which account you can see my comment?

NIK,

I can see your comment from my account, EArellano, but I think it's because the TempUser account is also a Super User. The SamBam and other accounts are just Registered Users.

I can read their comments if they REPLY to a post that I submitted. But I can't read their posts if they submit one themselves, as in my previous examples. SamBam posted an update on EasySocial to the public, but when I log on as EArellano, I can't see her post even though we're "Friends".

Here is another example. The user "MauiFish" posted an update with a picture (see image). But when I log on, I can't see his update, even though we're friends (see 2nd image).

Hello Edmund,

I'm sorry for the late reply. I've found out the cause. It is only happen for Photo item. Previously, you have hide items from Photo apps here: http://screencast.com/t/cvB1eomywoo . I've unhide it and the photo item is appear on your stream. Please verify this.
