Hey there,

when a new member registers on the site, the usual stream entry contains a comment and a like button. I have switched off these entries. But when I switch the registration mode to 'need confirmation from admin' there is another stream entry, looking like this:

Amazing! But when I switch registration to 'automatic logged in after registration' this entry is not created inside the stream. How can I have this entry all the time, no matter what kind of registration I set?
hey there,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Can you try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\controllers\registration.php and see how it goes?

Hi Mark,

sorry, I thought you recognize it by the size.

"#username just registered on the site - xx time ago"

I think it should be: APP_USER_PROFILES_STREAM_REGISTERED But the app 'profiles' I have switched on status to yes and new registration to yes. I will add login credentials to the first post.

Hi Sabih,

Can you download my attachment below and place it inside your /components/com_easysocial/controllers/registration.php, try to register again with registration mode = "auto" and see how it goes?

Hi Ezrul,

I really appreciate your fast reply but unfortunately this file gave no effect. Admin approval registration still creates the entry but automatic login does not.

Hi Sabih,

Can you update your EasySocial to the latest version?, and replace the file that my colleague give earlier, and look how it goes

Hi Muhammad,

I have already tested it on my testdomain which is on 1.4.8. That is were it did not work. I have not even tested it on my live site. I have updated the login details inside the first post to reach the test site where the file is updated as well as EasySocial.
