Hi Raymond.. This seems connected (let me know if you want it reported separately though!)...

In the "New Event Created" notification email in the case where admin approval of events isn't needed, the link in the email seems to go to a pending view...

/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=events&layout=pending

When I followed this (admitedly I was not logged in at the time) I just ended up on the home page. Presumably it should just link straight through to the event page.

I am able to replicate the url issue for new events creation notification. It should like link to the pending page if the event does not require moderation.
