My avatar went back to default avatar after editing my profile. When I tried to upload a new avatar I get a syntax error when I click on create avatar
Hello Robert,

Where did you hit the error when you upload the picture? I just tested this on the site but wasn't able to reproduce this error.

hi Mark, the error occurs when you upload an avatar in the profile after you crop the image then click on create avatar from the profile. The second issue is after editing the profile and save, the avatar goes back to default

Hi,

I tested both avatar upload from Profile view and Edit view, and I am able to upload avatar from both view correctly for the user that you've provided. http://cl.ly/image/1g3r3k430f1l

Hi, as stated before in my previous reply, the issue is when a user chose to upload avatar from "chose from photos" I get the error right after cropping the image.

the second issue is after edit a profile, you loose the current avatar. It goes back to default avatar. this issue is not about uploading avatar but editing information from your profile and save then avatar goes back to default

Hello Robert,

Okay, I think we've found some issues on the photos storage. It looks like recently you have just changed the Joomla path to the site from site6 to site1 am I correct?

Hi Mark, actually I didn't touch the path. site6 was for beta testing and site 1 has always been the same path for live site.

Hello Robert,

Hm, then this is pretty odd because some of the photos that are stored on the site uses the path of site6 rather than site1. Did you make a backup of the database when you are running on the beta?

By the way, I have ran some maintenance script to fix the path (from site6 to site1) but this will be addressed in 1.2.7 as we will no longer store the absolute paths to the photos. Selecting the photo should work fine now from the "choose a photo" dialog

Hi Mark, as far as the profile edit issue, the avatar is still being reset to default as soon as I click on save after editing the profile
