Hello. I use server with SSD 240 Gb and I suppose in future it will be not enough.
Hosting provider say, that they can add in future one more SSD. But both SSD will be separated. They can mount a new disk as a folder, such as /disk1 (similar to disk "D" on Windows), and store data in this folder. Server based on linux (debian 9).

I'm interring for store uploaded videos on SSD №2. Is it possible to do it in EasySocial in "Storage Paths" settings? Now it use "/images/videos".
Do you have such experience?

I can also ask some from Hosting provider if you need.

Thanks.
Hi there,

All local storage paths will always follow Joomla's root directory at this point time. Unfortunately, you cannot set independent storage path for that at this point time.

hi, i'm in the same situation.
i have to extend also the server space with another disk volume to get all the upcoming videos from easysocial saved.
is there any solution/work around how we could get this running, as it looks to me that maybe a lot more users running in the same problem here.

maybe this request could also be a solution to get this big amount of video data handled:

hey n00bster,

maybe this request could also be a solution to get this big amount of video data handled:

Currently I can't give any comment for this since I haven't explore about these YouTube Channel data API yet.

What I can said is no thing will be perfect especially if using other 3rd party API and I think there will some limitation as well.

But for now I would suggest that you guys can keep post any information into the voice page (related with the topic) so that our developers will go through the voice page during the development process of the next major release.

Hello. I use dedicated server with disk#1 fast SSD 240 Gb.
I contacted hosting provider support and they added extra disk#2 HDD 2000 Gb (2 Tb).
Also support "install" this new HDD as a folder:
/var/www/myuser/data/www/mysite .com/images/videos/ (in your case path can be another)
and moved all videos folders to HDD.

Now all videos and thumbs saved on disk#2 HDD. When somebody add new video, it stores on HDD. I also can easy get access to this HDD with FTP (FileZill)a and FileManager in ISPmanager (like before with simple folder). No specific knowledge is needed.

But when ISPmanager panel do a backup, it doesn't backup files on HDD. So support still looking for solution how to synchronize videos and keep it's copy on external FTP backup server.
