How do i stop Stop profile updates from appearing in the stream. Every time a user changes there avatar or cover photo it appears in the stream. I already set the user and profile applications to off. What am i missing

You might want to go to User - Photos app and turn off these options: http://screencast.com/t/3hmWwn3g . I've helped you turn it off. Please verify this.
