Hello,

Is there another way to stop email notification from forum the to disable the 'receive system emails' in Joomla user profile?

I manage the site but I really do not want to receive email notifications from the forum.

Thank you
Regards
Lene
Hi there,

You can manage them manually as you can see here http://take.ms/JAUtF. Please give it a try and see how it goes

Hello,

This is becoming more of an issue as I am receiving all these post notifications in my inbox. Being the designer/developer I have super user access but I do not want to receive post notifications from EasyDiscuss or EasyBlog. Is there a way to exclude Super User so only Administrator get the notifications?

Thank you
Kind regards
Lene

Hi there,

If that so, you can configure them accordingly as listed below respectively.

Easyblog
http://take.ms/mDlds

Easydiscuss
http://take.ms/kXV02

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Hello,

Still working on this to get it right.....

For EasyDiscuss i add an email address in the 'custom email addresses' which I want the post notifications to go to. If I set 'notify admins on new post/replies...' etc will the custom email still receive the notifications? The admin (website owner) does want to receive emails. I just need Super User to be excluded from notifications.

Thank you
kind regards

Hi there,

You can configure them here http://take.ms/Ccpfs by disabling it so that you (super user) will not receive them. Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Hi Warith,

That is not a very good solution as I look after the website maintenance. It is quite a busy forum...

It would be good if you have the option to exclude super user in email notifications if future updates, for both forum and blog. If a super user would like to received the forum/blog emails it is easy to add administrator user right to the user.

Hi there,

Unfortunately it is not possible to achieve this yet.

Perhaps it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request" so that everyone else could vote for it. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version if there are more people request on this.

Thanks for your understanding.
