Stop Currently Viewed Item from Appearing in Random Post Module

Hi,

Thanks for your help so far with the random post module, it's great!

Can you set it so that the module doesn't show the currently viewed item? eg. If I'm viewing the Baw Baw Frog item, sometimes the Baw Baw Frog will randomly appear as a random post in that module (see attached img).

This is particularly a problem where you have, for example, just 3 items in a category, and the module is set just to pick 3 random items from that category, in this situation the viewed item will always be repeated in the module.

Regarding your inquiry, unfortunately there is no setting to exclude certain post to display as you put the randompost module in an entry page(there is no function to detect the entry post id so it will not display the same post in the module) currently. Perhaps, you can submit a voice or create ticket under feature request so our developers can keep track the feature that they can implement in the future release
