Still unable to add links to buttons

I've posted this before, and it seems there is only me having continual trouble with it.

Every time I add a button block, then insert the link on the right, click save, click done editing, immediately when I return to the block the link has vanished.

Why isn't this working for me?

Hi there,

It seems that i can add those link as you can see https://screencast.com/t/pUEXuERmG. It might be related to our bugs on this version, as your Blog post didn't get the latest revisions(changes) on your blog post. By the way, this fixes will be included on our next release version. Thanks for your understanding

I'm doing it exactly the same way as you are - but still it doesn't work. When I preview, the link has gone, and when I return to the button editing section, the text box for URL is empty again, despite trying this over and over. And yes, I always save each time.

Yet it seems to be working fine from your end.

It's very frustrating.

Any other ideas of what might be causing it? By the way, it's been like this through several easyblog updates.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know what do you mean by preview? Is it you click on the preview post button from composer? (screenshot here : http://take.ms/D0xYt )

Perhaps you can try download this record video software here https://www.techsmith.com/jing.html and try record a video how to you perform add block link into composer? We might be can find out one of the step to reproduce this issue.

Yes I preview exactly as you say. I'll leave this thread open if that's allowed, and then when I work on another post at some point this week I'll record how I'm adding the link to the button.

I have the same problem here. Ad a block with button. Put in link, go to preview. Its not working,go back to post, link is gone.
Is there a solution?

I still have the problem. Unable to have url-links saved to buttons, but also not with for example Youtube blocks. As soon as i save, the links are gone. I have the latest version 5.1.12

Please help me out!
