Still have update problem with installer

Hi,

I have still the problem to update the EasyBlog. When I start the installer I get a failure if I try to update online (while downloading) ALSO if I put the zip file in the directory and start the update by diretory.

I have this problem until I made the update to 5.x. At the version 4.x I just clicked on the update button and everything works. It realy ***** because I have to contact you for every update. Is there no solution for this problem during the last month? I still use EB 5.0.31

I would be glad if you write a solution for the installer problem or how you make the update. So I have not to contact the support every time.

It seems like you hitting this memory limit issue :

I haven't find out what is the reason the installation need to spend a lot of memory in your site yet.

Perhaps you can try increase your server PHP memory_limit from 256M to 512M and see how it goes?

I have to ask if I the webhoster may increase the mem. limit.
If not, is it also possible to update EB manually? I dowload the zip file, open it und upload the files by ftp?

You're welcome, keep us update once your webhosting help you increase the memory_limit in your php server.

Actually that was possible, but you have to spend much time to unzip each zip file then replace into your site file through FTP.

It would be best wait for your webhosting increase the memory limit in your site then I re-check again and see how it goes?
