Hi,

I'm trying to get rid of the pending approval process. All users should be automatically approved. I only have one profile type and have set it to "Normal Registration (Automatic Login)" in Profile Types > Registration. But I'm still getting users showing as "Pending Approval." What am I missing?

Thank you,

James
Hello James,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I cannot replicate this issue with my local. Perhaps you can provide us with backend access and ftp access so that we are able to assist you on this issue much quicker.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hello James,

It seems like you're using EasySocial v1.2.9 in which already outdated. Can you upgrade your EasySocial to the latest and see if this issue are still persist. Perhaps this issue already being addressed in the latest version.
Looking forward to hear back from you.

Hello Peiyouliao,

I have check your site and it seems like it is different issue, since James site is using "Normal Registration (automatic login)" while your site is using "Require User Activation". If I misunderstand your issue, can you explain more?
If this is not the issue perhaps can you create another ticket and we will be addressed you there.

Please be advice and we hope can assist you.
Thanks.

Hello JH,

We are unable to replicate the issue that you are having because this issue is already addressed in the latest version of easy social.

Perhaps could you provide your joomla backend access and your FTP access in order for us to inspect the current problem that you are having ?

Thank You

I cleared out all the pending users so you can't see the issue right now! Can you still diagnose the problem or do I wait until there's a new pending user request?

Best wishes,

James

Hello JH,

Sorry for the late reply, It appears that you are using a component called pay plan to register new users in your site, you may go to your component provider site http://www.readybytes.net/payplans/apps.html#/app and download the apps for easy social integration and try to integrate with your easy social component and see how it goes.

Hello JH,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have check your site and it seems like you're using Payplan in which it registration is integrated with plugin Quick(from Payplan). Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/G4Wiy1o4uO . This plugin is enabled by default in which I believe it will override all other registration activation in your site. Also, you have installed 4 plugin for registration and all of them is enabled. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/GCQf8d9y9 . I believe this these installed plugin are conflicting with Easysocial in which somehow the generated activation code is not enabling Easysocial user. You can refer to this documentation for reference: http://www.readybytes.net/payplans/documentation/item/quick-registration.html and http://www.readybytes.net/payplans/documentation/item/easysocial-registration.html .
Can you configure the integration of Payplan to EasySocial and see how it goes. By the way, as my colleague said earlier Payplan have apps for Easysocial: http://www.readybytes.net/payplans/apps.html#/app/pp-easysocialregistration . Try install and configure it to your site and see how it goes.

Looking forward to hear back from you.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.
