Good morning,
I've setup JFBConnect to use ES for registration and just populate the fields with data retrieved from Facebook. However, at the last step where the cover and avatar are supposed to be added, I get "The page isn't redirecting properly". The JFBC people said I should report this to you because they don't think it's caused by their component.
Thanks for looking into it,
Michael
Hello Michael,

I'm sorry for the late reply. We are still investigating this issue. It only happens when the Required option in avatar is turn on. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-17_1658.png . I'm replying this post just to let you know that we are not missed your question.

Hello Michael,

I am not really sure how is JFBConnect redirecting the user's registration process through the normal registration process but this isn't actually the proper behavior. Basically what is actually happening is that the user avatar is set to "required" but for some reasons the avatar is missing from the registration form altogether.

Did you try the built in Facebook registration from EasySocial?

Hello Mark,
I can't use the FB registration provided with ES because I will add more options in the near future, like Twitter and Google+, possibly LinkedIn, that's why I'm using JFBConnect. If I set the avatar to not be required, will the bug not appear?
Best,
Michael

Hi,
I'm now getting
string(0) "" string(0) ""
instead of the previously described error. Any news on this bug?
Best,
Michael

Hello Michael,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Sorry, that was probably my debug codes Unfortunately I am not really familiar with JFBConnect but there is probably some issue with the flow of JFBConnect . I am requesting you to try the built in version of Facebook sign on just to verify that this isn't an issue with EasySocial

Hi Mark,
The built in FB integration works well. In this case I will get back to the JFBC devs to resolve this issue.
Thanks for your assistance, if they have any questions I will post them here.
Best,
Michael
