After indexing all content I went to the front end and in the status update area I selected "custom" for who to share with. It does not populate with usernames as you start typing. It appears not to function.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The custom privacy is not using the search. It uses a list of your friends Do you have any friends on the site?
