StackIdeas Toolbar: No padding (margin) between buttons

Hello. When I hover mouse on menu item, I can see background.
If stay on active page (menu item) and hover on few others, it will display background without any padding (margin).
Thanks.
It is intended behavior not to show the margin when you hover the item on the toolbar.

This is the same concept when you hover the item under the dropdown area on the toolbar.
