Running my site with SSL enabled requires me to allow unsecure content in order to check for updates in EB dashboard.

Please advise, how this can be rectified,
Chaim

It seems work fine for me, it did show the latest version of Easyblog dashboard, if I getting wrong your mean, can you elaborate more details or provide us some screenshot regarding this?

Digging around a bit I found some of the script that are called via http and not https:

  1. On dashboard: http://stackideas.com/updater/manifests/easysocial?callback=jQuery1111013740708737435314_1476640488194&apikey= (I removed my API key and secret key), please let me know how I can submit the full url securely.
  2. When running the updater: http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:400,400italic,700,700italic,500italic,500,300italic,300

See attached image.

Once I allow the insecure content I am able to check for updates.

Hi Chaim,
This is a known issue actually. Would you kindly refer to this thread for the fix? Remember to get the EasySocial fix if you are experiencing the issue in EasySocial.

@raymond Thanks for the pointer, I will apply the patch sometime this week and report back.

As that post was written a while back, I figured that it was rolled out in subsequent releases; is anything being done to resolve this in future versions?

As alrex points out in the end of the post,
By the way, these following fix files will included in next release version.
, is this not the case

Hey Chaim,
You're welcome. Actually, there isn't any EasySocial release ever since the fix was announced for this issue. The next release is probably the stable release of EasySocial 2.0, which the fix will be included. Hope this clarifies your issue.

I can help you apply the fix if you want me to, just let me know and update your ftp credentials. Cheers.
