This error appears to crop up each time I create a group.

An error has occurred.

The group is created, but I can't add avatar images or backgrounds.
Hello Tim,

Actually it is a correct behavior when you upgrading easysocial from old version to the latest. You can just proceed with the installation and the rest should working properly

Hello Tim,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like you are using older version of easysocial. This is actually a known issue and already being fixed in our latest version of easysocial. Perhaps you might want to update your easysocial version to the latest version and see if the problem solve.

If you do not want to upgrade your easysocial to the latest version, kindly download the attachment below and place it inside your /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/group/type

Thank you.

I think I may have made a mistake whilst upgrading. I went and downloaded the latest launcher and uploaded that package and now when I go to EasySocial I am being prompted to "install" it. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Excellent. I think the language used was slightly misleading.

Thanks for all your help, it's successfully upgraded now and I no longer have the problem with adding groups.
