I am not really sure if there's any other 3rd party module that does this and Gavick's module is targeted more towards articles / blog posts on your site rather than groups / events. Not too sure how would this work with their module.

No worries Mark. I was just curious if anyone knew of a slider (of sorts) that could load based of generated Group or Event ES content. I'll keep digging.

The ES events module has a filter for featured events only.

Thanks Josh. If I recall, JomSocial had a module that toggled featured events, but that was from a long time ago . I've looked at updating the EasyBlog data source code in NSP5, but it's a little beyond my skill level. I'm going to touch base with Gavick to see if they'd add it for a fee. Their adaptation to JomSocial is pretty impressive, and I know it's only a matter of time before they build a template with EasySocial integration.

Update! I was just looking on Gavick's News Show Pro website and they list EasySocial as coming soon
