Hello,
I would like to allow sponsorship for members who sign up.
Has this been thought?
If not, how to make a rude menu that would display the list of members displayed at step 1 of registration?
Best regards.
Eric
Sorry, but not sure what do you mean here Eric. Do you mean you want to list down users that registered under specific profile types during registrations? You can enable the option highlighted here to display list of users registered under the specific profile type, http://take.ms/bfK6o

Hello Mark,
Thanks a lot for your answer.
What I wanted was to allow during registration, to choose a member who would be the sponsor (A person who would have advised the site to the one who registered). This godfather would already be a member of the site.
So I imagined a rude list (displayed in step 1 registration) that would display the list of members.

But if that's not possible, I had another idea.

I will still test the different types of profiles, because this would allow me for example to create specific profiles to create member families.

Best regards.

Eric

Hi Eric,

I am sorry but currently in EasySocial there is no custom fields that allow you to select a site user during registration
Maybe you can let us know what is your other idea so that we can see if that possible?

Please advise.

Hello Sam,
My idea was to propose a list of choices displayed during registration, which would display all members of the site.
Thus it would be possible to propose a sponsorship system.

And also create a rule that attributes points and a trophy to the same men mentioned as godfather by the one who signs up.

Best regards.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Regarding the sponsorship, what I can propose you is to create a new custom field that allow user to specify the name of the site members. This will be captured as the user's sponsor name. Please see http://take.ms/6ix8Y

Also, create a new badge rule (achievement) in EasySocial so that, when a user, say userA is being selected as sponsor by userB during registration, userA's frequency on this new rule will be increased. And when userA's frequency for that particular rule reached a certain threshold, userA will be given a badge (trophy / achievement in this case).

Let me know if the above proposal fit to your requirements or not. If you are interested with the above proposal, you can send us a customisation request at our helpdesk and we will then send you a proper quotation.

Let us know what you think
Have a nice day

Hello,
Thank you very much, this is exactly how I envisioned things, and besides having almost 2000 members currently on my site, the menu would become much too long.

For the rules I will look at how to create one.

Best regards.
