Dear Team,

Congrats for EasySocial 1.2. The improvements and design are amazing!. Otherwise, I have experimented a considerable slow speed of my site. Therefore, it could be interesting if you can prepare for the future a Blog article with recommendations to make ES1.2 faster and good in performance.

Best Regards!
Hello Manuel,

What sort of speed degradation are you speaking about? Any particular tools that you used to measure?

I am not using any tool to measure speed. It is an impression, it spends more time to login or to navigate. I have seen that EasySocial 1.2 offers the possibility to load Scripts from a CDN, I have a bucket from AmazonS3 and cloudfront but I don“t know how to configure in order to try if the speed increases. In addition, do you reccommend to store images in Amazon S3. I had a very bad experience with JomSocial because not all the images were showed properly. What about EasySocial? What could happen if I try and later I want to use my server again?

Hello Manuel,

What I would suggest is for you to start by installing NoNumber's CDN plugin. Then, go ahead and create a maxcdn.com account. Then, setup the pull zone and your css and scripts would automatically be pulled by maxcdn.

On a side note, you could also install JCH Optimize plugin to compress scripts and css on your site This works well with EasySocial as we have tested them.

Thanks Mark and the other colleagues that help me to configure it. The speed performance has been increase considerably with this steps:
1.- No Number CDN
2.- Amazon CloudFront
3.- JCH Optimizer

Altough I do not have configured CDN for EasySocial. What is your recommendation. I have to enable and put pasive CDN with the same domain that NoNumber CDN?

Yes, if you enabled Nonumber CDN, turn on the option "Client side CDN"
