I have done some experiments with templates and loading times. My site running easysocial is really slow running rockettheme. Loading dashboard takes 6-7 seconds....
I tested it with rockettheme templates (different ones), al come with loading times of the dashboard of 6-7 seconds. show profile 3-4 seconds.
When using protostar template, the time to load the dashboard goes down to 4-5 seconds and show profile to 2-3 seconds.
When using wanderer, the same loading times as protostar.
Does anyone have experience using Yootheme templates? I can also try that one.
However, this gives me the feeling that gantry is too slow loading. Is there anything I can do to speed up the site? Do something in Gantry files for example?
I like rockettheme templates. Use them a lot. But with this speed? nah, that is too slow....the loading times of protostar and wanderer are also not really fast, but accaptable. However, those templates give me too little space to create what I want.
