I use your Easy Blog app. I noticed that that a program or person is logging in and posting links to virus infect sites and porn downlink. I need to some help to prevent this.
Hello David,

Did you mean unknown user comment on your blog post? If so, you can prevent them by set up anti-spam in your Easyblog which you can find the setting here: http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-05_0000.png Backend>Settings>Comments>AntiSpam.

Hello David,

It will only work for comment. Because it doesn't make sense to put antispam for new blog post because, Easyblog only allow registered user to post a blog unless your site has unrecognized registered members who spam your site by posting a blog.

Hello David,

Firstly, you actually need to identify where these "malicious" data is coming from. If you have spam posts on the site, then it is most likely that these spammers registered on the site and published these spam posts. You would need to verify this before we could advise you on your next course of action

Mark, you guys are awesome.

Yes, they registered on the site. I deleted their user account twice. Yesterday I took the blog offline for a few hours. I have not seen any other attempt today.

Hello David,

Perhaps you can try to activate moderating blog post option from your backend so that every blog post is actually filtered by you before being published it in your front page.

You can set the publish entry to "No" from your backend > easyblog > ACL > Registered > publish entry = "No"
http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-05_1308.png
You can see the pending blog post from backend > easyblog > pending
http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-05_1310.png

With this option turned on hopefully the spam can be controlled without affecting your blog frontpage.

Hope these can help you
