Getting swamped with spam postings. Normally I would switch off user registration in the Joomla back end but this is an e-commerce site and we need users to be able to resister.

is there a setting within easyblog (using version 3.7.13830) to only allow superusers to post blogs?

Thanks, paul
Hello Paul,

is there a setting within easyblog (using version 3.7.13830) to only allow superusers to post blogs?

That is quite an old version of easyblog you got there. To be honest I'm not quite sure if that version already included the ACL settings to permit the user group to write and publish the blog post. Perhaps you can check it from your backend > easyblog > ACL > [choose user group] > Write Entry and Publish Entry to "No", http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-06_1931.png

You can set all the user group to not be able to write blog except for super user group.

Hope these help
