Hi Guys,

I installed the EasyBlog - Search Blogs Module in my Blog. The module sorts the outcome of the search by latest post instead of relevance. I can't find an option to sort by relevance. Are their any settings i need to change?

regards,

Michael
Hi there,

Can you try to upload attached file at this path .../administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/search.php and see how it goes

It works but not in the way I hoped. Now it seems the results come out as a random relevance. If i search the headline of a post, the result is somewhere on the first site of results but I think i should be the first result. If I see the searched post the complete headline is in a yellow shaddow so it signals a high accordance to the keywords.
Do you have another way to sort the results by relevance?

regards,

Michael

Hey there,

Sorry for confusion above.

I have consulted with our developers and it seems that we cant achieved this currently as we only can control those result by orders only and based on relevance, it requires heavy modifications.

But it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues in our voice page -> http://stackideas.com/voices, so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.
Thanks for your understanding.
