I am sorry for the late reply for this.Kindly please find my response to your inquiries below:

1. One of our users is having troubles with sorting photos in one of his albums.
"How can he sort the pictures after he uploaded them?"

Currently we do not have this feature to sort the uploaded photos in album.

2. With the star symbol he is choosing the album thumbnail but this is not the one which is highlighted on the stream.

The “star” symbol is used to featured a photo on the album. This featured functionality do not have effect on the album stream on dashboard but only in album page.

Album stream on the dashboard will display the photo based on the latest uploaded photo.
