We need to debug your site in order to find the root problem. I am really sorry for not asking permission first.

Can you kindly reactivate our access so that we can continue assisting you on this issue? Here, I would like to ask your permission to turn off SH404SEF and your site SEF url. We want to test the non-sef url is working correctly or not? If it does, can we proceed to debug plugin issue? We will unpublish some system plugin which might be the cause of this issue. Can you give us permission to do this?

It turns out it was an sh404sef issue (not sure what though)
I deleted the url in sh404 url manager and when it recreated the url, the blog post worked fine again.
Please be careful and ask permission before making changes on live sites. I was freaking out with all the 404's I was getting!
