Hi there,

komento is a great component, everything's working fine.

there's only one small but very important thing I can't get running as desired.

Is there any option to reply to a comment without always typing my name and mailaddress? Like "Admins reply" ... ?

I'm running this site on my own, no other logged in users. All others are guests. When using Disqus or other commenting systems, which I really don't want to use, I'm always recognized as SuperUser/Admin/Moderator/whatever. When I'm logged into Joomla I don't have to fill out these fields, just type and submit.

Using Komento and wanting to add a coment or reply to another comment I always have to type in my Name/mailadress, right? Is there any chance to get Komento to remember me as a Moderator/Admin ...?

thanks and regards

J.K.
Hello J.K

By default, Komento will use the username if the user has logged in. Have you set these three option to Only Guest? If you have already did this, please provide us your backend and FTP access so we can check this for you.

Thanks Nik,

unfortunately I'm not allowed by the website owner to give away login details. If there's no other way I will set up a test site on the same server, install komento there and send you the login details.

The settings you mentioned were all set.

Playing around with the options I noticed I'm, though logged in to the Joomla Backend as SuperUser, I'm only recognized as guest at the Frontend. That must be the reason why there's no username used and why I see the "comment moderation" notice.

Any ideas on this behaviour? I'm running Varnish Cache on that server.

Best regards,

J.K.

Hello J.K,

If you are logged in to backend, it doesn't mean you have already logged in to frontend. You also need to login to frontend. Hope this helps.

Shame on me, totally forgot about the frontend login... On that site everything is disabled, no frontend editing, nothing...

Sorry for wasting your time and thanks for the fast replies.

Best regards
