We protect content using the payplans contentacl app.

When users without a subscription view an article the expected behavior is:

* That they can view the text in the intro section but not the main body text.

* They can view the image inserted as the article intro image via images and tabs but not the main image.

This only 1/2 works.

non-subscribed viewers are only shown the intro text. BUT, they are shown the image in the protected content rather than the intro image.

This goes against the idea of protecting the content.
Hi there,

Not sure how to replicate them as it seems to work fine on my end currently. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? And would be best if you can provide us with those articles so that we can look them further,

I am describing a bug; errant default behavior.

The main article image is shown when nonsubscribers try to view protected content. The intro image should be shown instead. The intro text is correctly shown to non-subscribers.

Free content and paid content are two different things. I expect non-subscribers to ONLY be able to see the intro image and intro text. I don't expect them to see the main article content; meaning images or text.

URLS/ftp etc have been added to the initial post.

Hi there,

Currently, Content ACL will check based on Readmore only and will show before readmore tags only. By applying this options, those images are appended outside the content itself and we cannot configure them. You will need to manually included those images on your content itself.

Thanks for your understanding.

I must not have made myself clear because you don't appear to understand what I just said. Sorry. I will restate.

I'm trying to get payplans to hide content that is in the main body of the article.

If you'd visit the URL I created just for you perhaps you could see for yourself.

Hi there,

Correct me if im wrong.

Based on your current articles, you have set them like this https://take.ms/YWHkW and by using content ACL, users with subscriptions will only see if and only if your contents are after 'READMORE' tag.

I have remove this https://take.ms/j5ZEN1 and your image will not shown. Currently, not sure how Joomla included them, your image here https://take.ms/YWHkW will always be included outside your articles contents.

That why im suggesting you to not use this https://take.ms/j5ZEN1 feature and manually include them on your content itself as like i have done on your end.
