Hello StackIdeas,

Just purchased EasyBlog a few days ago. LOVE IT! After some tinkering, I eventually ran into a problem I just don't know how to fix.

Here is the link to our blog on our website, I will describe the issue and you guys can see for yourselves.

So when you go on our site and access the blog, under the Category "General News" you will notice I posted a blog article "We Launched our Blog!" If you click on the blog, everything is fine, you will be able to see it. HOWEVER:

If you click on "General News" to view the entire category, it will require a login (not password protection) This is also the problem when I click "View All Posts" a little further down.

When we do log-in, our bloggers and me (the super user) can see these pages just fine. However, we want guests (regular visitors to the site) to be able to access these pages. I can't find anything in the back-end where it fixes that.

Can someone please help me? Thanks. Keep in mind, when I created these categories the "author" of the categories is the Super User (me) because that is how I get in to the back end of the site of course.

Again, thanks...
Hey Nick,

I believe the issue coming from this menu item, can you double check with your Joomla menu item regarding this `qti-blog` menu alias access?

If the `Access` set to public and still can't access by guest user, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

If you are requested to submit your site details, you may do so under the tab Site Details below. Please be rest assured that these information will only be visible to the support team from Stack Ideas.

Hi Arlex,

Thanks. I forgot I tested this blog in a menu item that was hidden from the public before transferring it to the actual blog menu item when I figured out how the extension and modules work. I simply forgot to transfer this one too. Wow, sometimes you oversee the simple things. Should have noticed, sorry about that. But thank you for your help and prompt reply!
