Hello,

I am having some issues I am hoping you can help me with.

Issue #1) If you login to the frontend (login details provided) and you click on the "Blog" menu item you will see a post showing 2 images. The image is being duplicated for some reason. If you click on the post title you will see the image only appears once which is the desired result.

Issue #2) When viewing the entries by clicking on the "blog" menu item I would like to not have images appear but only appear when someone has clicked on a title to view the full post. How do I accomplish this?

Issue #3) Note that while in the backend there are 2 categories (Uncategorized and Temp). Posts that are viewable by the public are put in the "Uncategorized" category while the "Temp" category is set to be viewable only by a person who is logged into the frontend. This is so I can format the post the way I want before I make it public by putting it in the "Uncategorized" category.

When I am satisfied with my post that is in the "Temp" category and then put it into the "Uncategorized" category to make it viewable by the public then the post shows in full instead of only showing a short excerpt from it (like the other post appears when clicking on the "blog" menu item). Shouldn't it automatically show the "shortened" version like the other post when I do this?

Thank you for your assistance!
Hi Mike,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. Please find my answers to your inquiries below.

For issue #1 and #2, you can turn off image from appearing on your frontpage listing by going to your backend > easyblog > settings > layout > truncation > position of image after truncation set to "do not show items", http://screencast.com/t/Ro39QX2QmTv5 . I've set the settings for you and the image is no longer appear on your frontpage listing.

For issue #3, it seems like you have compose one of the blog post using the legacy editor and you have set the truncation to follow break tag for legacy post as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/GPcupmN9vw . I've set the truncation to truncate the content by characters and it should appearing correctly now. Please have a look.
