Hi,
I have encountered the following issues in the new version. Could you please check?
1. Although I have entered the correct API key I can see the "Powered by EasyBlog for Joomla!"-link
2. The translation file de-DE.com_easyblog.ini does not work correctly. Most changes I made don't have any effect. E.g. the whole comment section is not translated and still shows in english.
3. The editor in the comment section shows the editor toolbar - but without any symbols inside.
4. I have activated Recaptcha with all keys - but the Recaptcha does not show.
5. The text for "About the author" cannot be edited in the backend. All changes (e.g. text, line-break etc.) are ignored
Thanks,
Uwe

Hello Uwe,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

1. Although I have entered the correct API key I can see the "Powered by EasyBlog for Joomla!"-link

We have already addressed this issue in the current release of easyblog. Next time you update the message will disappeared corresponding to your easyblog plan.

2. The translation file de-DE.com_easyblog.ini does not work correctly. Most changes I made don't have any effect. E.g. the whole comment section is not translated and still shows in english.

I've checked your comment section and it seems like the language did get translated from my end, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-18_1719.png . Perhaps there is some cache issue that preventing the change from taking effect immediately.

3. The editor in the comment section shows the editor toolbar - but without any symbols inside.

It seems like there is some css conflict issue with your template. I will forward this to our designer and they will check on your issue shortly.

4. I have activated Recaptcha with all keys - but the Recaptcha does not show.

It seems like there is some css conflict issue with your template. I will forward this to our designer and they will check on your issue shortly.

5. The text for "About the author" cannot be edited in the backend. All changes (e.g. text, line-break etc.) are ignored
Thanks,

I've tried to edit the about the author info from the backend and it seems like the change is appearing correctly from my end. Check my screenshot here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-18_1713.png

Hello Ezrul,

unfortunately the translations still do not work. You can see this in your own screenshots. Phrases/words like "Comments", "Reply", "About the author", "View authors profile", "Recent posts" etc. still show the english version.

Can you please double-check?

Also please let me know when there is a solution for the other issues that have been forwarded to your designer.

Thanks,
Uwe

Hello Uwe,

Please replace the attached file in: ../administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/easyblog.php and see how it goes?

Hello Nick,

on top of the remaining issue I have encountered a new one. By replacing the php-file obviously my URLs have changed. All URLs now are built like this "http://www.mydomain.com/k2-extra-field-groups/blog?view=latest";. So the string "k2-extra-field-groups" has been added although I have not changed any setting in the backend by myself. This applies to all Easyblog URLs and means that all URLs which lead to my blog and have been published in several other boards now are broken. Also I cannot find any way to modify the URLs like they were before:

Now (wrong): http://www.mydomain.com/k2-extra-field-groups/blog?view=latest
Before (correct): http://www.mydomain.com/blog?view=latest

This is really critical as the Blog is our major marketing tool. Could you please check?

Thanks,
Uwe

Hello Ethan,

yes - sure. Please do so.

Thanks,
Uwe

P.S.: most critical issue (beside the failing translation) are the broken URLs. Please have a look into this issue as quickly as possible as we are facing tons of 404-errors meanwhile because of this problem.

Hi Uwe Sunkel,

I've already install the latest version and that "Powered by EasyBlog for Joomla!" is gone now and
I have temporary disable this ARTIOsef setting ( http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-25_0015.png ) , the url is working fine.
By the way, can I have the permission to purge all the Easyblog SEF URL from ARTIO sef component to regenerate the correct URL and see how it goes
For the language issues we are still Investigating.

Hello Ethan,
please feel free to purge the SEF URLs. But I have checked in JoomSEF. There are no Easyblog URLs - at least I cannot find any. Please let me know the results.
Thanks,
Uwe

This happens when you enter a wrong password or chose the wrong admin directory. I have unlocked your IP. Please check the site details (!) and try again.

Hi Uwe Sunkel,

I've purge the URL from ARTIO JoomSEF and 404 error already solved,
now the url is http://domain.com/blog/latest
but I notice the URL appearing the " Id " but not the " Blog Alias ". However,
if I turn off the ARTIO JoomSEF, it will show correct blog URL with the alias.
Can you consult with ARTIO JoomSEF and do update us after you get their consultation?

That is because you have switched the extension setting in JoomSEF - EasyBlog to "JoomSEF basic rewriting". If you change that setting to "JoomSEF handler" the Blog Alias shows correctly.

Hi Uwe Sunkel,

Yes, but unfortunately this SEF integration is not developed by us As my colleague mentioned that if temporary turn off the Artio SEF extension, everything Easyblog URL work perfectly fine. It would be best you can consult with Artio SEF developer regarding this.
Keep us updated after they response you.

Hi Arlex,
the point is: JoomSEF now IS enabled (turned on) with the settings mentioned above and everything is working fine. So there is no need to contact Artio because there is no issue (anymore).
Regards,
Uwe

Hello Ethan,
unfortunately the problem with the wrong SEF-URLs is not solved yet. I have discussed the problem with Artio and here is what they have told me: "If you don't have any EasyBlog extension for JoomSEF installed and the SEF URLs are not stored in the URLs Manager, the component has its own router and the SEF URLs are handled by Joomla itself."
So Artio is not in the position to support me with the wrong URLs. They have told me to get back to Stackideas. Could you please follow-up on this topic?
Thanks,
Uwe

Hi Uwe Sunkel,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,

I think you missed up to share with JoomSEF developer, if temporary set "enable Artio JoomSEF" to NO, the URL will show correctly and it will use back Easyblog router itself and through in Joomla generate the URL.

By the way, I've tried to access in your joomla backend today, but it seems like you changed the login credential, can I have your Joomla backend access so I can better have a look?

Hello Arlex,

I have just updated the Login credentials in my account. Please have a look there.

As regards the ARTIO Feedback I am lost ... Maybe you can prepare the correct question for me? I am happy to send it to them. But honestly I don't know what to ask to get the correct Information.

Thanks,
Uwe

Hello Uwe,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

You can tell ARTIO that whenever you enable the artio joomsef, the easyblog url will not correspondent correctly with the artio sef url and when you turned off Artio joomsef url, the easyblog url will generated correctly based on the easyblog default router. Hope these could help.
