Hello,

I noticed that the blog posts were not being posted to Twitter so I recreated the token and checked the cron jobs.

The cron is running but the blog posts are not being posted. I revoked and then reinitialized the Twitter auto post and setup new access keys.

Also when I turn on linked in posting it seems to interfere with the Facebook and twitter posting.

Could you take a look?

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
Milo
Hello Milo,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Is it possible for you to provide us with the access to your Twitter account so that we can take a look at the app which you have created on Twitter?

Hi Mark,

No worries, here are the steps I took when I realized that no feeds were being posted:

1. Deleted application from twitter
2. Revoked access in EasyBlog to the Twitter application at techlick.com
3. Recreated the application at twitter and regenerated access codes
4. Granted permission to application to post on Twitter
5. Setup new cron to run

And nothing is happening even though the cron is running. The auto-posting was working before this weekend.

The only way that posts are being posted to Twitter or anywhere is if I manually run the feeds. Plus feeds are not being brought in on some RSS feeds. Example: http://feeds.feedburner.com/elise/simplyrecipes

Sorry for the long reply but thank you for your help. I appreciate it. I left the info you requested.

Regards,
Milo

Hi Milo,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have checked your twitter apps and it seems you misconfigured some fields. I have helped you fix the fields.
Check website URL, Callback URL make sure they are the same as your site domain (http://www.yoursite.com and http://yoursite.com make a big difference)

By the way, I can't access to your backend:
Warning
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Can you please go to your twitter apps and generate a new access token and then go to the EasyBlog > Autoposting > Advanced Settings page and revoke the access. Re-enter the new keys and reauthenticate the Twitter access.

Hope this helps. If you're having issues on this, can you please provide us your site's backend access so that we can assist you further on this issue.

Hi Mohd,

Thank you for your help. I am going to test it today and see what happens if I have any issues I will let you know. Below is what is happening thus far.

If I write a post and publish it, the blog will post. If I schedule it, the blog will post at the time I scheduled it. Which is good.

But I have to manually run the feeds for the RSS feeds to post to twitter. These feeds are all RSS feeds that are having issues. It just started happening this weekend as it was working before. I have updated all RSS feeds and their links and will see what happens today.

Question - Does it make a difference what Oauth setting you choose? See screenshot. Should it be GET POST DELETE PUT HEAD?

I have the app as GET.

Could you please let me know.

Thanks.

Regards,
Milo

Hello,

I tested today and I have to run each feed manually. It is not posting feeds automatically like when I first set up EasyBlog.

Is there a switch that I might be overlooking? All settings are the same as last week, everything is set to Auto - nothing has changed. If you need access could you give me your IP that you will login from so I can setup an account for you and white-list your IP.

Thanks.

Regards,
Milo

Hi Milo,

There is a setting at the Feed Importer for autoposting. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/EIxJXl2AKTAy . Have you checked this setting is it enabled?

If it do, but the issue is still persist, perhaps you can provide us backend access and FTP access so that we can assist you further on this issue.

Please advise.

Okay it was my fault on this one.

I checked the cron and it was missing a " at the end. It seems to be working. If I have any issues I will let you know., Closing ticket.
