[Solved] Move comment field closer to blog post

Hello,

I just purchased your excellent EasyBlog application the other day and I was wondering is it possible to move the comment field closer to the blog post. I looked through the settings but could not find anything.

Currently the Trackback URL for this blog entry.and the Author's recent posts are the ones that come after the blog (see images)

Could you help - thank you.

Hi Milo,

I have checked in your page, it seems like you are using `nomad` theme instead of default theme, so it will not get any affect when you upload my colleague attachment file.

Try download my attachment file and replace in JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\themes\nomad\blog.read.php and see how it goes?

You can try using this file instead. Upload it into /components/com_easyblog/themes/default/

Hi Mark,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have uploaded that file and there has been no change. I cleared cache and reloaded and still no change to the position of the comment field closer to the posted blog. The track back is the first thing and then recent posts field and then the comment field.

What are your thoughts on moving it up - is it a design decision?

Hello Milo,

I've tested it in my local and it works perfectly fine. Perhaps you can provide us with Joomla backend and FTP access so we can directly apply the fix for you?

I have uploaded the file that Mark attached and as you can see from this blog entry link below, the comment field has not moved up.

When you get a chance could you tell me what code needs to be moved so the comment field is right under the blog entry for every new blog that is published?

Currently it is under the related articles module.
