Hello,
Don't you wonder how many users will delete/unpublish their Marketplace items when these items are sold?

An option to drive attention and show there is activity and the real possibility of making money selling items is adding a state "SOLD" to the items (upper right item menu Edit - Delete - SOLD) or even better a quick button only visible for the owner on the item card and/or on the item page...

Marking an item SOLD can dramatically improve the conversion rate for example when adding a PayPlan Marketplace Subscription.

In the ES administration there could also bee a setting to limit the duration of the items visibility:
- Automatically unpublished after X (DAYS)
- When an item is SOLD, automatically unpublish after X (DAYS)
- When an item is SOLD, automatically delete after X (DAYS)

Then adding a "Renew" button on the item would publish again the items for the selected period in the Marketplace administration

good suggestions !

As there is already a feature request posted at https://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial/item/514-sold-improving-marketplace-conversions-a , I am locking this thread so we don't have to manage redundant posts.
