Social Sharing Not Sharing Correctly - Generic Site Information Displayed

Hello - Social Sharing is not working properly with Easy Social. it is not displaying the the preview of the post. Please advise where to correct settings display correctly? Or is this a issue with user privacy? Currently it's only showing the site name when sharing (i.e. Facebook). Twitter - Also just shows name of site and link to main site, but not specific content shared. Thanks! Shannon

Yes stream item privacy is a factor in determining whether social media sites are able to crawl the info.

From the screenshot, the stream item privacy is set to 'friends only'(http://take.ms/lPZ6e). Since the social media sites are technically 'guest users', if the stream item is not viewable by guest users, then social media sites will not be able to crawl the content as well.

You can test the url in FB by pasting it in Facebook's debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
