Hm, sorry but I don't quite get you here. When you click on the social share link, it actually shares that particular items link on most major social network sites. It doens't actually require you to type in some message about the link that you are sharing unless you want to.

You're right I'm not required to type in a message but if I don't the link will only say my name twice next to the thumbnail. I can't remember if it was on ES or on JS that when I use to social share the statues message that I had already typed in would be displayed next to what I was sharing and I didn't have to type it in again. It must've worked on JS that way. But that's not the major issue, the major issue is the difference between when I social share on the mobile version as opposed to the when I share on the desktop version. My first post explains the problem excluding the part about having to retype the message, also is it possible for the link to say "via the website" like some other social shares from other sites do.

Here are the screenshots from the link I'm trying to share from my phone. When it gets to Facebook it shows my avatar instead of the photo when I share it from my phone but when I share it from my laptop it works correctly and shows the photo i'm trying to share. Also notice once it gets to Facebook it says my name twice by my avatar thumbnail instead of what I previously typed in my statues update. Kinda strange I'm use to seeing a message right there.

That's probably because Facebook's crawler is not able to access that particular stream item. What is the exact link to the stream item page?

I think the problem is your profile can only be viewed when you are logged in. That is why Facebook is unable to crawl the site.

I was logged in, a person actually can't share anything to Facebook if they're not logged into both sites.

I don't think this could ever happen because when you share a link on Facebook, what happens is their crawler would crawl the link that you shared. If their bots / crawler can't access your site then there's no way it can "pull" the contents.
