We have a pretty basic bug with EasySocial, where the Social Share button is not picking up information correctly. The wrong image and sometimes the wrong title and description are being picked for links. You can test this on the EasySocial Demo page as well. Is there a bug fix for this?
Hi Sree Vijaykumar,

We've tested in our demo site and the Social Share button picked information correctly. May I know how can I replicate this? Can you provide us a screenshot of the issue, so that we can take a look on this issue.

Zue

Hi Vijaykumar,

I believe the main reason of the issue is because you didn't updated your EasySocial because we are already at the Version 1.4.6. I suggest you to update to our latest version and see whether the issue still persist or not.

We've checked the demo version of easysocial available online and the issue persists there too .. Please check the attachment below.. The image and the description aren't same as the link shared.. Also had we're facing issues with the link crawler (persists in the demo too) for example positing a link from quora doesn't get the description or the relevant images.. This works on other social network crawlers ..

Hi Vijaykumar,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, from my understanding you are using an older version of EasySocial. Can you please update your EasySocial the latest version because there are many changes included in the latest version. If you can't updated your EasySocial, can you provide us your joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on your current issue directly on your site.

Regards,
Zue
