yes - I have turned on these options. And I found out today that it is just Safari which is not showing the icons. In Firefox and Chrome they are displayed like before. But in Safari nothing shows up. Also the "Featured" slideshow above the blogs is not displayed in Safari. In FF and Chrome it is visible.
Unfortunately I did not have the chance to check it in Explorer as I do not have a Windows-PC here.
Any idea?

We have tested it in Safari and the social icon is visible: http://screencast.com/t/0ytvSbbjbbF . You might want to reset your browser cache and see how it goes.
