Social like counters gone after ssl

Hello - I have switched my site to use HTTPS and have lost the social counters - they are reset to zero. Is there a way to retrieve these? I guess facebook/twitter/pinterest etc.. treat it as a new URL, so not sure what can be done...

Hey Peter,

This is actually the default behavior of the like button. Facebook treats http://site.com and https://site.com as a different site and if you do modify the URLs to use https, then the like counters would be reset.
