I installed a social buttons plug-in in order for me to display Facebook, Twitter, at the top of my articles. However, they are also displaying on my blog articles and seemed to be missing the page up. In other words, when you actually go into a blog, there is a massive gap. I can't seem to find a way of excluding this plug-in from the articles on my blog.

Hello Penn,

The gap is because the social button has clear both before and after the button.
<div style="clear:both;" ></div>

You could either remove easyblog social button or move the location to bottom. In Backend > EasyBlog > Settings > Social Integration.

If you need further assistance please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site?
We actually need these information so that we can debug on your issues quickly.

Thanks:)

Thanks for the reply. I'm quite happy with the social buttons that come with the blog component. Am I stuck with the social buttons plug-in on each article? I would prefer to remove these. If I look in the settings for the plug-in, there are ways to exclude them. For instance, I can see all my categories and the rest as it says exclude categories, even if I choose categories related to my blog, the social buttons still show.

I think I have sorted it. As you suggested, I moved the blog social buttons to the bottom and now the top social buttons are sitting properly. Thank you a much
