Hello,

On 25 may rules around GDPR law started. I have under my blog posts like buttons of facebeook, twitter, google, linkedin.

I see that all kind of cookies are set on the page by these social media company's but that's not allowed by the GDPR. It's only allowed if a visitor accepts the cookies.

I don't want to disable this buttons, but is there a build in cookie message in easyblog to ensure that GDPR law is respected? Hide the social buttons by default and only show them after accepting.

Regards Michel
We don't generate any cookies consent for EasyBlog because we believe you should be using a 3rd party cookies consent plugin since this needs to be site wide rather than the blog itself.

Anyway, there are 2 possible work around:

1. Install a 3rd party cookies consent.

or

2. Configure EasyBlog to use a static social button instead. This would not generate any cookies on your site.
