I would very much like my blogroll in this module to have all of the social sharing buttons and even the Facebook comments in the output.

I cannot see how to configure this either in the component or the module.

In short, this module should be able to look, if asked, just like the frontpage view in the component, allowing it to be used on any page without having to make that page use the component as main output (that's the whole idea behind a module, of course)

Please advise.
Hello Christopher,

Unfortunately at this point of time, the module does not display the social buttons and comments within the module. The module currently only displays the blog post's title, creation date, ratings (configurable) and a snippet of the content

So what I want are the latest, say, 5 blog entries on my home page, along with everything else on there.

If I set my home page type to the EasyBlog home page, that works, placing the blog entries in the content area, but then clicking on a blog entry also loads it using my home page layout, with all of the modules assigned to the home page. I, obviously, do NOT want this.

How can I configure things such that my home page has EasyBlog home page as the page type, but all other EasyBlog views (single blog entry, category, etc) go to their own layout?

I ask, since apparently using the latest blogs module isn't going to get the job done.

Hello Christopher,

Ah, I see. In EasyBlog's SEO settings, you can actually configure how it should behave and relate to the menu's on your site. I am presuming that your "home" menu item is an EasyBlog menu type? If that's the case, all you need to do is to create a hidden menu that is not visible anywhere, and configure EasyBlog to use this particular menu id.

Once the menu is created, copy the id and paste it in the section highlighted here, http://screencast.com/t/80LbMAan5m . You can access this settings via Settings > SEO > Advanced Settings
