I am using Joomla 3.2.2 with the latest versions of all Stackideas products in the Joomlart Purity III template and have installed/integrated JFBConnect with all social button api working.

Question 1

If I create a menu item using the EasySocial login option, the JFBConnect Social buttons appear below the left hand login area (see loginmenulayout.png).

However if I use the default Unity view in my Social menu for peope to login/register, the social buttons appear at the bottom of the page, after the stream feed (see unityloginlocation.png).

How do I move the location of the buttons in Unity view to just below the left hand login area (as they appear in the login menu view?

Question 2

I intend to use the EasySocial login layout on relevant main site pages but would also like to have a pop up menu layout with social buttons, similar to the pop up used on the Sourcecoast website (see scloginpopup2.png) when a visitor/member clicks on a Sign In/Register Menu item.

I would like the Sign In/Register Menu item to change to 'Account' when a member is signed in, with a drop down showing the social buttons as well as any sub menus that would only appear when a member is logged in (see screencast video of how it looks on the Sourcecoast site):

After Login Menu Item View = http://www.screencast.com/t/oQQluVwt

The Sourcecoast version is based on their SCLogin module which is currently not integrated with EasySocial but they can supply the code to be used with a suitable ES module or Menu option. The EasySocial 'Login Layout' Menu option and Login Modules are a match in content and probably the best to be used.

I raised the question in the Sourcecoast forum here and they asked me to check here first to find out the best way to proceed.

It doesn't have to be exactly like the Sourcecoast version (though that would be nice), just a pop up with the social buttons and a menu item that changes from Login/Register to Account.

Advice on best way to proceed appreciated.
Hi,

1. This is controlled by JFB's plugin trigger where the plugin is listening to a specific event to inject itself and with that, we do not have control over where JFB inject itself.

2. This is currently not possible yet and we will see if we can add this in the login module in the future.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for the reply, I will go back to Sourcecoast for a possible solution as I know they would like to integrate more with EasySocial and it would obviously be good for both components.

I also noticed this Stackideas thread in the misc section, the solution in the image is excellent for the current Stackideas login and his code changes actually answer my question 1 with the possibility of answering number 2 once the answer to his file request is posted, because he can edit the code there as well.

It would mean we are 80% of the way to a pop up solution and Sourcecoast may be able to provide the answer,
