Hi - I've set up this website for my client, and I've got into a right mess trying to link EasyBlog with his Facebook account via my Facebook identity.
The instructions seemed to me to imply this could be done, but perhaps I misunderstood.
Please could you talk me through this or point me at more comprehensive instructions than I have found so far.
I will need to repeat this process for LinkedIn and Twitter.
Thanks
Ian
Hi Arlex - I will test it now to check it is all working, and get back to you if I have any problems with it.

Thank you very much for your excellent support so far!

Best wishes

Ian

Hey Ian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.

Perhaps you can read of our how to setup 3 social media autoposting documentation in Easyblog?
http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/setting-up-facebook-autoposting
http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/setting-up-twitter-autoposting
http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/setting-up-linkedin-autoposting
Hope this will help.

If still can't, perhaps you can provide us with your Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter access so we can help you configure with this.

Hi Arlex - thanks for getting back to me. Hope you had a good holiday :-)

I think my problem is that I'm trying to link my facebook page through to my client's - without success.

I suppose it would be easier to ask my client for his social media login details?

Hi Mark - I've asked for the login details. I should have done this to start with, but he's a difficult client, and I thought I could do it without having to wait for him to get back to me.

I'll keep you posted - thanks to you and the team for your help so far.

Hi Arlex - many thanks for the quick reply.

My client has just received the verifcation code for LinkedIn - I've put it in site details.
He has also had to set a new pw for facebook. I have pasted this in too.
I'll have to check out the Twitter account.
Sorry for the problems on this one...

Then I request again, I hit this error message :
You have exceeded the maximum number of code requests.

I will try resend the verification code again tomorrow.

Regarding the Facebook account, I have resend again the verification code, can you provide us with that Facebook account verification code?

Hi Arlex - back at my desk now.
I'm not quite sure what to do next.
It appears from the back end of the site that you have set up a Facebook link, but that it is not yet working properly.
The Linked In and Twitter feeds are yet to be installed.
Please tell me what you need me and/or my client to do.
Many thanks for all your help so far,
Ian

Hey Lan,

I can able to access in your client Facebook account, but i noticed this Facebook account didn't create any Facebook app before, you can take a look of my screenshot below. Am i missing something here?

if no, can I create a new Facebook app from this Facebook account then configure in your Easyblog site?

Yes, I need your client Twitter login access.

Regarding the Linkedin access, this will a little bit tricky is because this Linkedin verification code very fast get expired.

may i know what time you and your client usually online?

Hi Arlex - thanks for getting back to me.

The Twitter login is in site details.

I think yes please, set up the app for facebook.

I think my client will be around late afternoon out time tomorrow - but I will not. Can I have an email address for you so he can send the code direct to you to save time? If you could give me a time that will be good for you that would help as well.

I really appreciate the help you are giving us here.

Thanks again,

Ian

Hi Arlex - many thanks for getting back to me, and no problem about the delay :-)

I'm going away now for the weekend, and won't be back until Monday morning.

However, I have alerted my client to the situation, forwarded him your email, and asked him to email you the details you need direct.

He may not want to do this, in which case I will talk to you again on Monday.

Thanks again for your help with this,

Best wishes

Hey there,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

I already done the Facebook autopost but I do not know which Facebook page you would like to autopost to.

By the way, It seems like you haven't update your phone number in your Twitter profile page, perhaps you can try activate from this page and see how it goes? ->

Regarding the Linkedin, the verification code already send to your email address robert.tearle@roberttearle.com , can you forward that verification code in my email?

Looking forward of your response.
